Melbourne University – International House: Junior Common Room

The Junior Common Room (or JCR) was primarily to be a resource for the students, with access to a large projector and screen system with the view to also use this space as a large presentation room with microphones and high quality audio. With the knowledge that the aesthetics and neatness of the installation were extremely important, the DIB team were able to conceal cabling and projector screen (which only becomes visible on lowering) and even design a custom powder coated casing to fit onto rear of projector....
