Time for a spring clean?

In this article, we share just a few of the different types of service we can perform for your school or organisation.

1. Blown Globes, Cable Check, Camera Alignment and dust

All of these things can play havoc with the quality of sound and visuals. So our team will inspect every component, every cable and give them a good clean, whilst adjusting or fixing anything we find that needs repair.

2. Firmware updates and panel calibration – we can ensure that every component has the latest operating systems, firmware, software and more. Our team can also ensure panels are calibrated, that audio is working correctly and update any controllers.

3. Audio checks – speaking of audio – we can check your microphones, speakers and other audio components to ensure they are all working correctly. How often have you heard sound systems with ‘popping’ and feedback. All signs that levels are incorrect or equipment needs cleaning or checking.

4. Wallplate replacements – plug components in, pull them out, do this several hundred times and inevitably panels on walls will become loose, or pins will be broken in connectors. A visual inspection of these oft forgotten elements and your system will be enjoyable to use again.

The DIB team loves design, and we love installation. But we also like to give existing systems some love too. After all, modern high tech equipment can be expensive, and you don’t want to waste that investment by failing to maintain.
