Assumption College is a Catholic, year 7 to 12 co-educational, day and boarding school in Kilmore, Victoria founded by the Marist Brothers in 1893. As a part of their commitment to educating the whole person, Assumption offers a wide-ranging co-curricular program including the Performing Arts.
Given Assumption College has been using the services of DIB Audio Visual for the past 5 years they approached DIB Audio Visual to supply them with an Audio Visual proposal for their Junior Dance Studio.
This space is used for classes and included the need to sometimes show students visual content on a display as well as have a quality sound system used for playback of music via a Laptop or other audio devices such as an iPhone or iPod device.
Philips 65″ Commercial Lite Monitor.
To achieve this DIB AV put forward a solution that included a Philips 65” Commercial Lite Monitor that the user could connect to via an HDMI input installed beside the display for presentations etc. or via the HDMI input installed at the rack location for the connection of a Permanent PC or BluRay Player. The system also has the ability for a wireless connection using the school’s preferred wireless technology for the connection of Laptops etc. This system included a JED T460 wall mount control panel that allows the system to be easily turned On & Off without the need for a remote control and keeping in line with their other Classroom AV systems to maintain system uniformity across all classrooms within the school.
Premium Community DS5 Passive speakers
Also proposed was the installation of Two Premium Community DS5 passive speakers, powered by an Australian Monitor HS250 mixer/amplifier. This mixer/amplifier allows the user to playback audio through the Community speakers either from the installed Display, Wirelessly via Bluetooth or connected via the installed 3.5mm stereo input jack for the connection of their choice of MP3 player.
