Here at DIB we recently had a first had review of the NEW SONY VPLFHZ55 laser based WUXGA 4000 ANSI projector. We have been cautious in our recommendations of the new laser projector technology simply due to it being early days and new generation technology, but we were impressed with what we saw from this NEW Sony model.
Key features we liked included:
– This is a genuine candidate for installation and forget about for 5-8 years, no lamps, no servicing just use it.
– Baked by a serious 5 years or 12,000 hour warranty!
– Great picture quality
– High ANSI rating coupled with a high colour light output meaning bright and vibrant natural colour reproduction
– Fantastic energy saving features
