The team at DIB worked with Coburg West to transform the AV system inside Coburg West’s gym. These new systems hope to improve the technological capabilities of the space.
Installation process
An Epson EB-G7200WNL Projector was installed inside the gym. With a WXGA (1280 x 800) resolution and 7,500 ANSI lumens of brightness, this powerful, high-performance projector can produce ultra bright, vibrant images. This ensures that any content displayed remains crisp and clear even if the space is large. The projector will be projecting images onto a motorised 160″ Grandview SmartScreen, which can be controlled using an infrared remote control or be integrated with the room’s AV system.

A Barco wePresent was also installed. This wireless presentation system makes it easy and simple for users to connect and present their content from any device, all without needing to install additional software. Additionally, for local connections DIB fitted two HDMI input plates, allowing users to connect their device using HDMI cords.
For a simpler user experience of the system, DIB installed a Joey Micro 6 control panel. This intuitive, user-friendly panel takes all of the system’s important features and makes them easy to access. This includes buttons that turn the system on and off, control the volume and select the source to be projected.
In terms of audio inside the gym, DIB integrated the new system with the existing audio setup. Further, a 3.5mm audio socket was fitted, allowing users to connect their iPods or MP3 devices direct to the speakers.
