Yarra Leisure’s Richmond Recreation Centre provides a wide range of sporting facilities for the whole community. These services include a 50-metre indoor swimming pool, which is used by Olympians and other elite athletes, gyms, group fitness studios, as well as spas, saunas and steam rooms.
DIB worked with Yarra Leisure in placing more digital signage around the centre, involving the installations of various monitors and digital signage players.
Installation process
Samsung monitors were installed throughout the reception, gym, studio and foyer areas. These displays are notable for their high brightness, creating images that stand out regardless of the lighting conditions inside the spaces. These monitors were wall-mounted using a Peerless AV TrueVue wall bracket, featuring a 15 degree tilt for finding the optimal viewing angle.
A Brightsign HD223 digital signage player was installed and set up with each monitor. Brightsign players feature flawless, full HD single video decoding, as well as HTML5 support and simultaneous content playback from local, networked and streaming sources. Using a Brightsign player allows staff to create, customise, and schedule content throughout the day, displaying vibrant, captivating images and videos.
