While it may be mistaken for a giant television, Microsoft’s Surface Hub is far more innovative and much more capable than any television or tablet. Flexible, dynamic and intuitive, the Surface Hub puts collaboration at the foreground, bringing with it an impressive array of features that help facilitate more engaging, productive meetings – both online and locally.
Flexible and adaptive
The Surface Hub ca suit all kinds of workplaces. It comes in two different display sizes (84″ and 55″) to cater for larger and smaller environments. The Surface Hub also comes with flexible mounting or floor standing options, depending on the needs of the company.
Built for teamwork
The Surface Hub’s hardware is perfect for collaborative work environments. With a large, high responsive touch screen that can handle 100 points of touch (with a pen or a finger), multiple people can view and interact with the display at the same time. The pen provides a natural, fluid inking experience that feels just like a pen on paper, making it simple and easy to write, annotate or draw on the display. The Surface Hub breathes new life into group conferences, making it easier than ever to brainstorm new, creative ideas.
Connect with others around the world
The Surface Hub re-imagines what it means to be in a meeting with people overseas. By seamlessly integrating Skype for Business (which utilises the two built-in wide angle HD cameras), Office, OneNote and other Windows applications catered for businesses, the Surface Hub makes it easier to bring and connect people together, regardless of their location.
Scheduled or spontaneous meetings
Schedule meetings ahead of time with the integrated Skype for Business. This way, everyone will be on the same page and attend the conference on time. Any additional, remote attendees can also be added into the conference at any time.
Share content easily
The Surface Hub enables the user to share whiteboard notes as a OneNote or image file. By saving these notes for posterity, the ideas within them can be developed further even after the meeting ends. It is also possible to share and display content from other personal devices such as a laptop. The various HDMI, VGA and DisplayVideo inputs make it easy for people to project presentations from their external devices. There are also USB ports that allow for file sharing via USB sticks.
