The Extron ShareLink 200 is another product in a long line of wireless enabled content sharing devices for AV systems. We have trialed and installed many devices so if you are looking for a solution to suit your specific needs, then please do not hesitate to get in contact. The features that stand out to us about this product which separate it form many others on the market are:
- The ability to complete basic annotation over content via USB connected devices, keyboard, mouse or even interactive whiteboard
- The ability to share content directly from USB connected devices
- The ability to operate it in moderator mode with full control over who gets to display what (good for teaching eenvironments or in collaboration mode where anyone can post content
- The built in wireless access point which can be setup to be separate to your private network and so allowing a form of public access just for content display in meeting rooms where you have regular guest presenters.
We have not tested this new product from Extron yet and so these are our initial thoughts, but we’ll certainly know more when we play with one in the near future.
