What’s New? Rollable LED Displays: A Smarter Option for Complex Spaces
Every space comes with its own challenges when it comes to AV. Some rooms demand a large, bright display but can’t accommodate traditional options. Projectors may not cope with high levels of natural light. Large fixed LED walls may block windows, overwhelm architecture, or clash with the overall design. And for places like churches or function spaces, a permanent screen can feel intrusive when not in use.
This is where next-generation rollable LED displays offer a new kind of solution. Built with flexibility in mind, they provide the full performance of LED technology in a form that rolls down when needed—and disappears when it’s not.
Why it works:
- Adaptable – rolls up like thick paper, making it easy to install and hide away.
A demonstration of how the LED display rolls up and down with the mechanism. The screen shown here is a smaller demo version—full installations are much larger.
- Durable – IK10 impact resistance (can withstand a 5kg object dropped from 40cm) and IP65-rated protection, meaning the display is fully dust-tight and resistant to low-pressure water jets from any direction. In practice, this ensures it can withstand everyday exposure to dust, accidental knocks, or splashes in busy environments.
- Clear visuals – high-contrast LEDs, wide 140° viewing angles, and an anti-reflective surface deliver clear images even in bright rooms.
- Simple upkeep – tool-free assembly with front and rear servicing access.
Lightweight & slim – just 15kg/m² and 10mm thick, so it integrates into almost any environment.
For schools, offices, and workplaces that want the benefits of LED displays without the drawbacks of bulk or permanence, this technology fills a very niche—but important—gap. It gives you a high-quality display that can meet the demands of bright, high-traffic spaces, while preserving the aesthetics of the room.
Flexible rollable LED displays make it possible to have the impact of LED when you need it, and let the room take center stage when you don’t.
