Melbourne University – International House: Junior Common Room

The Junior Common Room (or JCR) was primarily to be a resource for the students, with access to a large projector and screen system with the view to also use this space as a large presentation room with microphones and high quality audio. With the knowledge that the aesthetics and neatness of the installation were extremely important, the DIB team were able to conceal cabling and projector screen (which only becomes visible on lowering) and even design a custom powder coated casing to fit onto rear of projector.... Citadines on Burke

The completed set up has three projectors that can be used individually as individual rooms when the Event Centre dividing doors are closed or as one large space when the dividing doors are open. When opened the same image from the one Laptop can be displayed on all three projectors at the same time allowing anyone attending to have a clear view of the presentation, as well as the same audio having the ability to be directed to all three spaces with an individual volume control for each space.... Senior Study Centre at Caroline Chisholm Catholic College

Caroline Chisholm Catholic College recently converted its senior common room into a study centre. The brightly lit space has tables and chairs, as well as comfortable, stylish leather couches. In July this year, DIB installed an AV System to complete this space.
