St Michaels Grammar has a history dating back to 1895, yet it has always been at the forefront of technology for the modern learning environment, installing one of the first specialist science laboratories back in the 1930’s!
Today, the school is a flourishing K–12 School that is widely recognised as a centre of academic, cultural and sporting excellence.
It is to excellence that the school directed their attention when commissioning DIB Audiovisual to install high technology UHD screens for the Food Technology classroom.
The DIB Audiovisual team specified two Philips Q-Line, 65″ UHD Commercial monitors, which were installed on LCD Wall mounts with a 15 degree tilt.

The team also designed, supplied, installed and commissioned an Extron MediaLink Plus controller. This MLC Plus 100 control panel features clearly marked ON and OFF buttons as well as 4 multi function buttons (inputs or otherwise) and a rotary volume control with LED indicator.

These panels also feature IP connection for remote interfacing or monitoring.
This new system allows for an enhanced viewing buy students of demonstrations and cooking lessons and brings technology and food together.
This proved a tasty combination for students and teachers alike.
