Established in 1919, Dandenong High School is one of the oldest, largest and most culturally diverse Secondary Schools in the state. Located in the South East of Melbourne, Dandenong High School is a co-educational school from Years 7 to 12 with an enrolment of approximately 2000 students.
Over the last few years, DIB have maintained a strong relationship with Dandenong High, who hold great importance in keeping every single classroom as up to date with the latest interactive and projection technology. To date, DIB have assisted with over 50 interactive classroom upgrades, as well as other various AV projects throughout the school.
The most recent project to be completed are the new Science/Music centres. DIB Australia, as they’ve done in the past, coordinated with Hayball Architects to ensure a bespoke audio visual solution in each space was achieved.
This project is a great example of how with a good relationship between school, architect and audio visual contractor, a large project can be easily be managed and coordinated to ensure the best result for the school, the practicality in the space and of course the all important aesthetics in superbly designed buildings such as these.
