Bellbridge Primary School enlisted DIB Australia to install an interactive projector in one of their classrooms. Located in Hoppers Crossing, the school carries a welcoming sense of community and boasts an experienced teaching staff. Year-by-year, Bellbridge implements innovations and initiatives in order to improve student outcomes. Part of this involves employing the latest teaching practices and education technologies. In line with this goal, the DIB team recently worked to bring greater interactivity and collaboration to a classroom with the installation on an Epson EB-595Wi interactive projector.

The Epson EB-595Wi is one of the most popular and complete interactive projectors on the market. It is especially designed for use within a classroom environment and ticks all the boxes in terms of picture quality, interactivity, ease of use, and energy efficiency. The projector’s ultra short throw design allows it to project a large image while compactly sitting close to the projection surface. The EB-595Wi projects an impressive and bright image with vibrant colours. It supports up to 4 users simultaneously to encourage collaboration and group work. HDMI, VGA, audio, and USB inputs
Along with the projector, the DIB team installed wall plates with HDMI, VGA, audio, and USB inputs to provide a variety of options for connecting devices to the projector. A Joey Micro wall control panel was also installed alongside the projector. This control panel sports 6 clearly labelled buttons to turn the system on and off, cycle through sources, alter volume, and freeze the image onscreen. It also features LED backlights which help to indicate which function on the control panel have been selected. In all, it provides a simplified and intuitive way of controlling the projector system as a whole.
