Balwyn High School has worked with D.I.B Audio Visual for several years and considers the company a preferred AV supplier based on its ongoing service and expertise.
As part of its annual audio-visual upgrades, the school engaged D.I.B to assess 13 classrooms requiring equipment updates. This process included reviewing existing setups and identifying suitable upgrade options.
D.I.B’s approach focused on functionality within the classroom environment, with consideration given to how equipment would be used in teaching spaces. Alternative solutions were also presented where appropriate.
The installation was scheduled during the school term break to minimise disruption. Coordination of the project included outlining timeframes and ensuring appropriate resourcing to complete the work within the available window.
On-site, installation works were carried out with preparation and communication prior to commencement, ensuring alignment on requirements. The installation team worked efficiently throughout the project.
Following completion, all equipment was checked to confirm it was operating as intended. The school noted that this contributed to a smooth transition when students and staff returned after the break.

For our annual A/V upgrades, DIB came out to assess the 13 rooms that were in need of an equipment upgrade. Their understanding of the importance of functionality and teaching clarity of the classroom environment is something that is highly valued. In particular, Sam’s knowledge and experience shined through when offering possible alternatives to enhance the learning experience.
Knowing we needed the installation completed in the term break, DIB Production Manager, Mel was very accommodating and communicated effectively to outline all the possible time frames and installers needed to complete the job on time. DIB technician Andy ensured that everyone was on the same page before works began. The way he led his installation team ,demonstrated a high level of experience and efficiency.
The end results provided a seamless transition for students and teachers returning from holidays. All equipment was thoroughly checked upon completion of installation, leaving us confident that there is rarely a need for a service call out.
