Viewbank Primary School, located in the Melbourne suburb of Viewbank, caters to students from Kindergarten to Year 6. Viewbank Primary School approached the DIB team to help them upgrade their current educational technology in their classrooms and halls. Five classrooms were chosen for upgrades, seeking to select a top of the range projectors, new whiteboards and sound system. DIB Australia, in consultation with Viewbank, developed a tailored technology solution to enhance each room. The products chosen for each room were specifically selected in accordance with the size and function of the room.
Three of the regular classroom spaces were upgraded in the same way. The EPSON EB-695Wi WXGA 3,500 ANSI Interactive Finger Touch Projector was selected for the classrooms due to the impressive array of features that it allows. This projector creates crystal clear beautiful images with 3500 lumens of brightness, creating vibrant colours and bright whites. Additionally, the finger touch capability is important for primary schools as students are able to kinesthetically learn by interacting with information in an exciting and collaborative way.

A USB, HDMI and Audio input plates were installed to increase the connectivity of the projector system. This allows for teachers and students to share through the system using a wide range of devices.

The installation of a sound system with a 30W (2 x 15 Watt) EPSON Quality Powered Speaker Solution allowed for crystal clear sound to be projected throughout the classroom. These have the ability to work with the projector or be operated solo via the audio input plate.
