Caulfield Grammar School is a private school with a campus located in Malvern. Caulfield Grammar School is determined to provide quality learning for all their students, shaping them into responsible global citizens. For this particular job, Caulfield Grammar School engaged the team at DIB to create a custom technology solution to upgrading their IT conference room. DIB worked to develop a plan around the needs of the Caulfield Grammar staff.
Installation process
For this project, a Sony Pro Bravia – 75″ ULTRA HD 4K Commercial TV was chosen. With the 75″ screen, not only will all the staff in the room be able to see the screen, but more files can be on screen at any one time. This allows for a more collaborative, efficient working space. The ULTRA HD 3840 x 2160 resolution of the screen means that presentations and videos will look crisp and clean on the monitor
An LCD wall installation 42″ – 60″ with 15-degree Tilt was also installed. This wall mount, fitted to suit the screen, has a 15-degree tilt that will allow anyone in the conference room to see the screen. The ability for all members in the room to see the presentation is crucial to any conference room.

DIB also installed an Extron MLC62 Simplified 8 button wall control panel for the simple operation of the newly-installed systems. This panel gets rid of the need for complex and easily lost remote controls and combines all their functionality in one place. These panels are typically set up to include buttons that turn the system on and off, control the volume, and source selection. The Extron panels are very user-friendly, featuring push buttons that click in to confirm that the input has been registered.

A HDMI input plate connection was also installed to allow for the staff to connect their external devices.
