Fitzroy High aims to equip their students with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed and excel in their future endeavours, allowing them to adapt and navigate an ever-changing world. DIB worked with Fitzroy High in transforming the AV systems for three of the school’s classrooms. These updated systems hope to facilitate a more interesting learning experience for students.
Installation process
Before the commencement of any new installations, DIB allowed the removal of old equipment (like projectors and speakers) as Fitzroy High is a valued client of DIB.
In all three of the classrooms, an EPSON EB-685W projector was installed. Noted for its 3,500 ANSI lumens of brightness, the projector creates bright and vibrant images that demands attention. This is further maintained by the projector’s ultra-short throw nature, which reduces the risk of glare or shadows that could affect the clarity of the images. The projector also features advanced networking capability, which allows users to present from a remote location.
While the projector has an in-built 16W speaker, DIB installed an EPSON 30 watt speaker system. Comprising of two 15W speakers, this system is effective in reinforcing the sound from the projector, carrying audio throughout the entire classroom.
For simplicity, DIB installed a Joey Micro 6 panel. By taking all of the system’s important features and making them easily accessible, these panels remove the hassle of using new technology. The panels are often set up to include buttons that turn the system on and off, control the volume and select the source to be projected.
A HDMI input plate was fitted, giving users another way of connecting their device to the projector.
