St Peter Apostle Primary School is a Christian school which caters for students of diverse, multi-cultural backgrounds. The inclusive nature of the school allows primary aged children to grow and flourish in an inclusive and engaging educational environment. Formed in 1973, St. Peter Apostle Primary School has set a precedence for excellence in education through high-quality staff and utilisation of top class technology. DIB Australia and St Peter Apostle Primary School’s working relationship has been positive, joining forces to create technology solutions and improve the edu-tech opportunities.
St Peter Apostle Primary engaged the DIB team for this project to update the audio-visual facilities in their Library. The DIB team worked with St Peter’s to create a custom solution, utilising some of their existing equipment and suggesting key components which would raise the overall quality of the library.
The EPSON EB-580 3,200 ANSI XGA Ultra Short Throw Projector was selected for this particular installation. The projector was chosen due to the myriad of high-quality features it provides. The EB-580 boasts up to 3,200 lumens of white and colour brightness. It has up to 6, 000 hours of lamp life on eco mode and a high contrast mode for a dynamic viewing spectrum of both shadow and brightness. This quality viewing experience is vital as the projector can be used with the blinds up and the lights. The ultra short throw capability cuts through any potential sources of glare.
Additionally, a VGA, Audio and HDMI input plates were installed to allow for connectivity with the new projector system.
