Located in Melbourne’s northern suburbs, Reservoir High School is a Year 7-12 school that provides a comprehensive, challenging education to all of its students. DIB worked with Reservoir High in replacing the projector system for two of their classrooms, refreshing the AV systems with more efficient, effective technology.
Installation process
In both rooms, an EPSON EB-685W projector was installed in both rooms. With its 3LCD, 3-chip technology, combined with 3,500 ANSI lumens of colour/white brightness, the projector is notable for producing incredibly bright, vivid images. The clarity of the image is further preserved thanks to the projector’s ultra-short throw nature, reducing any shadow or glare interference. The projector also allows users to simultaneously display and control multiple devices, wirelessly sharing content from up to four devices.
The projector further features powerful, built-in 16W speakers that can fill the room with sound, ensuring that all of the students, regardless of where they are seated in the space, can fully engage with the presentation.
A Laptop HDMI input plate was installed, allowing users to connect their devices locally. The input plate was fitted near the existing AV inputs.
DIB further re-programmed a Joey Control panel so that the panel suits the new installation. A Joey control panel emphasises simplicity in that it takes the important features of the AV system and places them in one, central place.
