Projecting the right image at Hume Central Secondary College
DIB was commissioned recently to help Hume Central Secondary College upgrade a number of rooms with new projectors and associated equipment.
Hume Central Secondary College, located in the City of Hume, serves the Broadmeadows area with a total student enrolment of approximately 1,200 students and growing, Hume Central Secondary College is the outcome of the Broadmeadows Schools Regeneration Project.
Hume Central Secondary College is a states their overarching goal is that every one of our students achieves their absolute best in all areas of their studies. The academic success of our students is ensured by a rigorous Year 7-12 curriculum and highly skilled, dedicated teachers and support staff.
We love their guiding principles of achievement, diversity and success. And positive behaviour expectations: To be respectful, To be responsible and To be a learner.
At DIB Audiovisual, we see our role in designing, installing and servicing high quality audiovisual systems as being supportive of the learning process by students.
After all, good sound and vision make sure the messages and lessons being communicated can be received and duplicated by students.
This project is a classic example of selecting the exact right equipment for each room.
We used two types of EPSON Projectors – The EPSON EB-685W 3500 ANSI WXGA Ultra Short Throw Projector and The EPSON EB-535W 3400 ANSI WXGA Short Throw Projector.

Along with JED (T430) Two button wall contol panels’ powered – EPSON 15 Watt 2-way Stereo speaker systems and high quality vitreous enamel whiteboard, amongst other equipment.
We know the students of Hume Central Secondary College will be able to aim for their guiding principle of success and gain the knowledge, skills and personal attributes that will enable them to lead successful lives beyond school.
