PowerCor engaged the team at DIB to help update the AV system of four meeting rooms in their Ardeer office. Upgrading these systems means that the staff can complete their work in a more efficient and effective manner.
Installation process
Before the new installations begin, DIB removed old equipment such as old projectors and projector screens as PowerCor is a valued client of DIB.
After this was done, an EPSON EB-1460Ui Meeting Mate Interactive projector was installed in each meeting room. This versatile, multi-function interactive projector is the perfect hardware for any collaborative working space. The projector blends conventional whiteboard functionality with engaging interactivity, allowing multiple people to work with the projector using their hands or the special pens. This promotes more employee engagement with the meeting, boosting productivity and the sharing of better, more innovative ideas. The projector also caters for remote collaboration, allowing up to four people from remote locations to participate in meetings.
The projector’s 4,400 ANSI lumens of brightness and high resolution WUXGA capabilities means that it can produce high-quality, vibrant images, adding a little flash to presentations that can make it more captivating to the eye.
To supplement the projector, a high-quality vitreous enamel whiteboard was installed. These flat whiteboards have a ceramic type surface, which is well-suited for ultra-short throw and interactive projectors. The whiteboard is also fitted with a slim metal bezel, giving the board a modern, sleek appearance.
An EPSON Meeting Mate Control pad was also installed by DIB. This simple, intuitive control pad features a button that toggles the whiteboard function, meaning that users can simply start writing notes or annotating images on the projector without the need for a PC. The control pad also features a USB input where notes and annotations made on the projector can be saved directly onto a USB stick.
