Mill Park Heights Primary School, located in the Melbourne suburb of Mill Park caters to students from Prep to Year Six. Mill Park Heights promotes a multicultural school community with students from different nationality backgrounds. The Primary School states that their “purpose is to develop responsible, self-motivated, resilient learners through the provision of a stimulating, relevant and flexible curriculum”. The school, in an aim to equip their young students to be global citizens, encourages the use of digital technologies in their classroom curriculum. The use of audio visual products in this way is imperative to encouraging children to learn and utilize technology.
Mill Park Heights sought to update their Staff Room, Art Room and Conference Room in order to provide the best technology to their students. The engaged the team at DIB Australia to consult and create custom solutions for each room.
Installation process
Firstly, for the Staff Room an EPSON EB-2155W 5,000 ANSI WXGA Installation Projector was selected. This projector has 5, 000 lumens of brightness as well as WXGA widescreen resolution. The EPSON EB-2155W has broad connectivity with HDMI, VGA and USB connectivity. Additionally two Kramer 30 Watts 2-way Stereos were installed to enhance the experience of the projector. To make sure the room was easy to use VGA, HDMI and Audio input wall plates were installed so that any device could be used in the room. Moreover, the capability for audio only makes the space flexible as audio can be used without turning on the projector. A JED (T460) Four button LCD wall control panel was installed to control the AV in the room.

The Art Room was also enhanced with the installation of a Philips 65″ 65BDL3000Q FHD LED Display installed flat against the wall. This screen is the perfect choice for an art room as it is extremely high definition and each image appears luminous and life-like. This is important for the art room as images need to be understood as realistically as possible. Additionally, this room also was connected with VGA, HDMI and Audio which is all controlled by a JED (T430) two button wall control panel.

Lastly, for the Conference Room a EPSON EB-1450Ui 3800 ANSI WUXGA Meeting Mate FINGER TOUCH Interactive Projector was selected. This interactive projector is ideal for conferences which require note taking, collaboration and brainstorming. The meeting mates interactivity makes it an ideal projector tool for the modern conference room.
