Marian College is an all-girls school located in Sunshine West educating young women in the Catholic Brigidine tradition. The college seeks to promote exciting and innovate teaching practices based on the core values of Catholic education. Marian college seeks to reward effort and excellence to promote growth and learning amongst all students. DIB has helped the college with several installations including the fit out of their state-of-the-art Food Technology room.
For this installation, Marian girls College engaged DIB Australia in order to implement a brand new projector system. In consultation with the school’s needs, the EPSON EB-955WH ANSI WXGA Projector was selected. This EPSON projector boasts longevity with 10, 000 hours of lamp time, 3200 ANSI lumens for bright colours and whites and a crisp visual resolution quality.

A Grandview Deluxe Manual 103″ 16:10 Projector Screen was also installed. This manual projector screen has a large 2210 x 1380mm screen area for crisp projection images. Moreover, the auto break feature means the screen always retracts smoothly and does not develop any kinks which would reduce the screen quality. DIB also designed and installed a recessed ceiling screen box. This allows the screen to completely disappear when not in use.
Additionally, to enhance the audio-visual experience two Australian Monitor QF8 ceiling speakers were installed. These speakers are clear and can easily fill the classroom with sound to accompany any images or video displayed on the projector. A PTN PA2b Ceiling Amplifier was also installed to ensure quality surround sound experience within the classroom.
HDMI input plate.
To control the system a Joey Micro 6 wall control panel was programmed and installed. This simple and intuitive panel is commanded easily by students and teachers alike. This system replaces remotes which are easily lost. Features on this panel include on, off, volume up and down and HDMI. An HDMI plate was also installed to ensure easy connectivity between devices and the projection system.
