Laurimar Child Care Center, located in the Laurimar community, is a center that fosters early learning and emphasises the importance of friendship, community and family. Laurimar promotes “hands-on experiences and innovative learning practices” in order to develop their students’ kinesthetic learning abilities and creative potential.
In order to improve their already exceptional educational services, Laurimar engaged DIB Australia. DIB worked with Laurimar to develop a technology solution appropriate to educating and engaging young students. The DIB team chose to install a Commbox Classic LED 60″ Full HD touchscreen.

The Commbox was selected as it is a high-resolution panel which has dynamic, vivid colours. The clear HD images produced and bright colours are key to engaging a younger audience. The stylish display and high-quality sound capability made it an appropriate choice for the Laurimar Child Care Center.

Additionally, the panel which has interactive capability is advantageous to primary learning as words and concepts are being taught through association with images and videos.The Commbox combines infra-red and camera technology to create incredibly responsive and accurate touch technology. This allows students and staff of Laurimar to use the panel as a reliable interactive tool.
