Sometimes, designing and installing audio-visual equipment is just a job, and sometimes it is filled with purpose and meaning. They are investing in youth at Wyndham City Council.
Such was the case when Wyndham City Council asked the DIB Audiovisual team to help with an upgrade for their Youth Resource Centre.
Wyndham City’s Youth Resource Centre (YRC) is a multi-purpose youth facility for young people aged between 12-25 years old. The YRC offers a range of youth services, information and activities for young people in the Wyndham area.
In this rapidly growing region in Melbourne’s west, sectors of the community can be left behind, or the level of need can be underestimated.
Wyndham City Council are working hard to ensure this is not the case with the region’s youth – and they provide a wide range of programs to provide support out of this centre. Whether it be to help parents connect with their children or for young expectant mothers.
We installed a range of equipment in the centre to provide a high-quality and functional audiovisual solution.
This included:
- An Epson EB-L630U Laser Light Source installation projector, complete with
6,200 ANSI Lumens of brightness. - A Sennheiser Evolution G4 – Handheld Super-Cardioid premium
microphone system. - An Extron TLP Pro 525M 5″ Touch Control Panel
- An Extron Audio DMP 64 – Matrix and DSP
- An Extron IPL Pro IRS8 processor
