Over its history, Waverly Christian College has excelled in providing a quality Christian education experience with high academic standards. The College is known for strong VCE results, with the majority of their students gaining entry to their preferred university programs each year.
Waverly Christian College contacted the team at DIB Australia for the installation of interactive projectors across six of their science rooms. The EPSON EB-595Wi interactive projector was settled on by the DIB consultant in collaboration with the school. The interactive whiteboard projector features finger touch, allowing users to collaborate intuitively using just their finger, truly turning the whiteboard into one giant touchscreen. Interactive projection in the classroom adds a new dimension of interactivity to learning. Its high quality image and colours up to three times brighter than leading competitors, means that the EB-595Wi has great visibility for the classroom, able to be easily viewed by students.

In each classroom a dome camera was installed over the demonstration bench. This allows teachers to clearly show their practical work without the whole class having to crowd around the bench.
The DIB Audio Visual team installed a Joey Micro simplified wall control panel with the interactive whiteboard projector. These panels are great for clear and easy operation of the device. It features controls for the essential functions such as turning the system on and off, and choosing between laptop and camera source.

The College approached DIB early, while the rooms were still being constructed. This allowed DIB to coordinate with the construction team to install the cabling and AV inputs early in this building process at a time when the ceiling and walls were still accessible. The result of this was a neat, clean, and easy installation of hidden cabling. This allowed inputs to be placed on the teacher’s island bench without cables running across the floor and walls.
