Our Lady of the Southern Cross is a Catholic primary school in Wyndham Vale, Victoria. The school provides a welcoming culture of learning with an experienced teaching staff and great facilities. The team were enlisted by the primary school to install a new interactive projector system in one of their classrooms.
At the head of the new system was an Epson EB-595Wi interactive projector. It brings an impressive and vibrant display from a compact ultra short throw design. Other aspects of the job included the installation of a HDMI wall plate to provide for the connection using the modern, higher quality format. A pair of Epson speakers were installed to achieve powerful audio for the projector. Finally, a JED T460 four button wall control panel was included to give staff a simple way to operate the new system. This control panel features all the essential functions of the system as well as an LCD to ensure user-clarity.
Interactive projectors can be especially great for primary schools, allowing kids to get hands-on with the content. The hands-on experience is literally achieved by Epson with their finger touch technology. Most interactive projectors require users to interact using a special pen. However, the latest generations of Epson projectors support finger touch, allowing staff and students to use the projector as a big touchscreen. At the end of the day this provides for a more intuitive user experience. Kids don’t have to worry about sharing around special interactive pens, instead they can naturally touch the screen with their finger. With this and many more featurse, the Epson EB-595Wi proves itself to be arguably the best interactive projector in its price range, helping to bring greater engagement and collaboration to classroom settings.
