Yarra Valley Grammar’s inclusive, welcoming community is one families genuinely love and a place where students feel inspired to achieve their very best.
Yarra Valley Grammar was a large project DIB was proud to be a part of. With over 42 screens across 40 rooms, we made sure to deliver this project on time and with the consistency required in such a large job.
The project was completed in January before the new school year started. DIB gave Yarra Valley Grammar the end-to-end, project management experience. We coordinated all the contractors, managed the layouts, and ensured the project was delivered in its tight timeframe. Close coordination with Yarra Valley Grammar’s IT Department and Maintenance Department ensured the project was delivered on time and within budget.
A large install of over 42 displays
Yarra Valley Grammar approached DIB to give them the latest in technology, including large, full commercial 4K displays for all areas. DIB was able to negotiate bulk pricing for Yarra Valley Grammar to give them a discount on the large volume of goods involved in the install.
One of the most pressing matters with the install was the timeframe. With the imperative to complete the project before the school year commenced, DIB made themselves accountable to complete the project before 26 January.
Most classrooms were installed with advanced capacitive touch wall control panels with IP monitoring and control included at no additional cost to Yarra Valley Grammar for installation.
DIB has also promised ongoing service and support with all CommBox screens backed by a full 5 years onsite warranty.
40 classrooms updated with the latest technology
Our team commissioned every room and ensured the fitout the fitout suited the space for the most cohesive learning environment.
The team paid particular attention to the needs of each room: Drama spaces had different layouts to IT rooms and the library had a different layout to the gym.
Even the individual classrooms, many of which are in the same block and have the same layout, were given specific attention.
Small details were given as much weighting as the overall project. Powerpoints were placed strategically for cord management and PC boxes were placed behind displays in discreet but accessible locations.
The latest 4k displays in the IT rooms
The IT rooms in particular were allocated the latest 4K displays. These bright, vibrant displays are the new standard in picture quality, and will remain so for years to come.
Students can see the best possible version of their work, operating in the same industry standards as the workplaces they will be heading into.
Yarra Valley Grammar also thanked DIB for this project in their own newsletter, which can be read here.
