Trinity Grammar School is a private school located in the Melbourne suburb of Kew. It is an all-male school which believes in “preparing our students to flourish in the dynamic, competitive and challenging global environment of the 21st century”. Trinity Grammar School provides a wide variety of subjects for students and promotes the use of technology within the school. Each student in the school from Year 5 to 12 have tablet computers so that they can engage with education through technology. As a result of the excellent teaching and the emphasis on educational technology, the students excel in their studies. Trinity Grammar School as a result produces students with outstanding VCE results.
For this particular classroom installation, Trinity Grammar School were in need of an upgrade to their Drumming Space. They wanted to install technology into the room so that they could use the room in more dynamic ways to help students to learn. DIB worked with Trinity to come up with a solution for this particular room. This required understanding the needs of the students and staff and which products would best suit the space.
Installation process
The team at DIB selected the EPSON EB-2250WU 5,000 ANSI WUXGA FULL HD projector. This projector boasts features like Full HD resolution, broad connectivity and an automatic screen fit function. These features allow the projector to function easily and efficiently. Additionally, the 5,000 lumens makes the images produced by the projector vivid and bright.
DIB also installed an HDMI input plate connection near the projector. This allows for connectivity with a variety of devices. It ensures that the system can connect with the students and staff”s devices.
