St Mary’s Parish Primary School, situated in the bayside suburb of Williamstown is the oldest, continuously operating Catholic school in Victoria. Opening in 1842, this school has created a proud history, which includes a direct association with the Sisters of St Joseph which began in the school in 1900.
Having a strong history, but (like most schools) not wanting to stay in the past, when staff looked at new AV for four of their classrooms, they spoke to Gabi, Solutions Consultant at DIB Audio Visual. After finding out the exact needs for each learning space, an AV solution for each classroom was designed and decided upon. The main display chosen for each space was the Epson EB-585Wi interactive projector.
Two Epson 15W speakers were also integrated into the projectors to provide greater audio playback from the projector. VGA (+audio) & HDMI wall input plates were installed to all access for both connection types to the projector. USB input was also installed, so as to provide the interactivity aspect for the AV system.
DIB have provided a quality AV installation, that will continue to provide interactive learning experiences for teachers and students for many years to come.
