Sparking Curiosity at Coburg Senior High School
Coburg High School is a co-educational public high school located in Coburg, Victoria, Australia. Originally founded in 1916, it was one of the first co-ed high schools in Victoria. Coburg High School talks about its school values as being Excellence, Integrity, Curiosity, and Community.
Focussing on one of these values – curiosity – the team at DIB Audiovisual loves how our audiovisual designs can support this value in the students at our client schools. After all curiosity is why we explore the solar system, how Marie Curie investigated the use of radiation in science and medicine, and it kept Leonardo Da Vinci fascinated by nature and science throughout his prodigious life.
Audiovisual solutions are more than light and sound – they are a window to the world for students in today’s 21st Century classroom. And speaking of windows to the world, this project involved the installation of a number of digital signs throughout the school.
Signs that direct the attention and inform students and teachers of the school.
We supplied and installed a variety of Philips Commercial monitors throughout the school including ancillary equipment such as articulating wall mounts.
Now the students can explore the world from their classrooms – learning languages, following explorers to the depths of the oceans and witnessing global events that shape the world.
If that isn’t sparking curiosity at Coburg Senior High School, we’re not sure what will.
Another fantastic project for our client at Coburg High School, and one we’re proud to be involved with.
