DIB has been working closely with MLMC for 8 years to improve the audio visual component of their teaching to further encourage classroom engagement.
MLMC Library with new DIB installed system
DIB installed an EB-685W Ultra Short Throw Projector in MLMC’s Barak Library. The Ultra Short capability of this projector allows for the user to stand very close to the projected image without casting a shadow which is a great feature when writing on the whiteboard. The EB-685W produces 3,500 ANSI lumens creating an ultra bright image which is ideal for the library space.

A HDMI & VGA plate was installed to allow for seamless laptop connection for a variety of different student devices. DIB also reprogrammed the library’s existing EXTRON wall controller which was set up to toggle between VGA and HDMI inputs. An additional button was also installed to account for Apple TV to be installed in the future.

The new projection system was integrated with the existing audio system to allow teachers and students to use the projector to its full capacity and be able to plug their device directly into the speakers without having to turn the whole system on.
