Regular classroom AV upgrades are a part of what happens at many larger schools, with Parade College (Bundoora Campus) being no exception. When some of their classrooms were due for an AV upgrade, DIB was contacted to look at upgrade options for eight classrooms.
Having an existing relationship with the school, DIB consultant Gabi went out to Parade College and consulted with staff to determine the best AV solution for their needs.
In each of the rooms, the ultra short throw projector, Epson EB-585W was chosen. This provides each display with a bright 3,300 lumens and being close to the whiteboard surface reduces the possibility of hot spots (reflection of light from the projector’s lens) and shadows from a person. The rooms were installed with the JED Micro 6 control panel, making it simple and easy for staff to use the AV system.
Simple to use buttons were used – On, Off, HDMI, VGA, Vol +, Vol –

To complete the AV system, the rooms were fitted with Epson 15W speakers, which provided the audio for the system. Both VGA (+ Audio) & HDMI inputs for devices were provided as part of the AV system. Careful consideration was given in each room for the placement of each of the control panels and inputs.
