Kilbreda College gets an upgrade

Founded in 1904, Kilbreda College is a Catholic secondary school for girls, based in the beautiful bayside suburb of Mentone in Melbourne.

As part of this ongoing mission and commitment to learning, Kilbreda College recently engaged DIB Australia to design and install an upgrade of their audiovisual systems to several classrooms.
Pursuing our own commitment to inspired understanding, the DIB sales consultant worked with the Kilbreda team to design a suitable system. The final system included projectors, speakers, user control interfaces and other support equipment.
A key feature of the installation was using EPSON EB-685W 3500 ANSI WXGA Ultra Short Throw Projectors. These provide ultra bright images along with minimal shadows and glare. These projectors also offer advanced networking capability and compatibility. With a broad array of connectivity including HDMI, USB and even optional wireless connectivity.
DIB also installed vitreous enamel low gloss whiteboards, which are the perfect companion to the EPSON projectors. In selected rooms, we installed a Slimline Whiteboard. These whiteboards have a ceramic type surface and are very flat which is ideal for ultra
short throw and especially interactive projection.This is a quality low gloss whiteboard
surface.

For enhanced interactivity, we installed an EPSON EB-1480Fi 5,000 ANSI FHD (1080p) Interactive LASER Projector in the science rooms – which facilitated a multi-touch image display up to 100 inches.
