Glenferrie Primary School has a long history serving the community and families of Hawthorn. The school commenced operations in 1875. On the outside the school is of architectural and historical significance to the State of Victoria.
But as with most schools – it is what is inside that counts most.
The school is incredibly proud of the current student body of approximately 350 students who hail from 27 different countries. A true reflection of the multicultural community in which the school is located.
At DIB Australia, we believe in inspired understanding, and we also believe the school can also be proud of something else inside their school. A brand new state of the art audiovisual system recently installed by our team in their BER Hall.
Starting with smart design, DIB centred the new system on an EPSON EB-2265WU 5,500 ANSI WUXGA FULL HD Installation Projector with WiDi.
Partnered with this projector is a motorised Grandview Smartscreen 140″ 16:10 Projector Screen. Along with premium Community DS8 and DS5 speakers.
We also added a Joey Micro 6 – simplified wall control panel – to do away with easily lost remote controls. These panels are typically setup to include buttons such as on, off, PC and Auxiliary video selection as well as screen up and down buttons. These panels will even turn your system off automatically if it is accidentally left on, saving lamp/projector life and power.
Here are some photos from the completed project.
As always, the team at DIB Australia welcome a call from any organisation wishing
to design and install a high quality audiovisual system in their site. Call us on (03) 9457 4800
