The team at DIB recently installed a projector system with camera and LED Display Options in the Food Tech Classroom of Westall Secondary College.
At Westall Secondary College excellent teaching and education support staff, work collaboratively in dedicated teams to plan and facilitate a teaching and learning program that meets the needs of all students. The College motto of INTEGRITY and SERVICE is reflected in all aspects of school life.
This consisted of an EPSON EB-685W Ultra Short Throw projector with 3500 ANSI Lumens of
output. Complete with a network management port and 3 year warranty.
The Key Features of this projector are:
– Ultra Short Throw – Minimal shadows and glare. Ideal for use with interactive whiteboards.
– Ultra Bright Images – With a brightness of 3,300 lumens White and Colour Light Output
– Advanced Networking Capability – Enables users to monitor, control and present from a
remote location
– Broad Connectivity Including HDMI, USB display, PC Free slideshows, network and optional
wireless connectivity
We also installed a JED 4 button wall control panel. These panels simplify operation of your system and do away with the need for complex and easily lost remote controls. These panels are typically setup to include buttons such as On/source selection, Off and Vol up and Vol down buttons. These panels will even turn your system off automatically if it is accidentally left on, saving lamp/projector life and power.
Over the prep area we installed a stovetop camera. In this case a Marshall CV506 Miniature Full-HD Camera w/ Ceiling Bracket & Lens. A Fixed prime lens was also included here (CV-4716.0-2MP) to ensure camera can be set-up to capture the prep area/stovetop.
Coupled with this camera, we installed a Kramer 1-in, 3-out HDMI Distribution Amplifier (splitter) and HDMI cabling. This allows the signal from the camera to be split to three locations
in the classroom – two LED screens and via the projector.
