Charles La Trobe College is a school with two campuses located in Macleod West and Heidelberg West. The school offers education to students from preparatory through to Year 12. Charles La Trobe College engaged the team at DIB Australia to help create a custom technology solution for their music classroom. The college was looking for a unique solution. They wanted the ability of a projector but did not want to be restricted to having the projector in one spot in the room. In order to overcome this predicament, the team at DIB developed an innovative, custom educational technology solution.
Installation process
In order to make the music room able to be used flexibly, the team at DIB attached a premium EPSON EB-685Wi WXGA 3,500 ANSI Projector to a mobile framed whiteboard stand. The EPSON EB-685Wi WXGA 3,500 ANSI Projector was selected due to its wide range of features. The EPSON projector has 3,500 lumens of brightness. This means that each image produced by the projector is crisp and bright, with the ability to engage students. The ultra short throw ability allows the projector to be portable. Additionally, the ultra short throw feature means that glare and shadows do not affect the quality of the image produced.
EPSON EB-685Wi WXGA 3,500 ANSI Projector and Whiteboard on a Gilkon Electronic Height Adjustable Freeframe.
This advanced projector was placed on a special Gilkon Electronic Height Adjustable Freeframe for the installation of the whiteboard, projector, and associated cabling. This frame is sturdy and holds the whiteboard as well as the projector. A 1.2 high x 1.9m wide quality vitreous enamel whiteboard was supplied and installed in the frame. This whiteboard provides a luminous backdrop for the EPSON to project onto.
