DIB worked with Kingswood College to update the AV systems in their classrooms. This involved the installation of new projectors and a speaker system to match.
Installation process
The EPSON EB-685W Ultra Short Throw projector was installed in all of the classrooms. With a brightness of 3,500 lumens, this projector is capable of producing ultra bright images that makes any presentation engaging. This is helped by the projector’s ultra short nature, which reduces any shadows or glare that may obscure the projector’s clarity. The projector also features a myriad of ways through which a student or a teacher can connect their devices, be it remotely or through broad connectivity (such as HDMI).

While the projectors come with a 16W built-in speaker, DIB installed an EPSON 30 Watt external powered speaker system. This 2 x 15 Watt stereo speaker system, which matches the installed projector system, provides audio reinforcement for the classrooms, ensuring that any audio can be heard throughout the room.

To simplify the operation of the installed systems, DIB installed and programmed a JED 4 button wall control panel for each classroom. The panel places an emphasis on simplicity, condensing all of the system’s functionality in one place. These panels include buttons that turn the projector on and off and control the volume.
DIB also integrated existing AV cables with the new projector system, whilst installing an additional HDMI input plate.
