Australian Pharmaceutical Industries (API) is one of Australia’s leading health and beauty companies. As a pharmaceutical distributor, API has several of Australia’s successful high-profile brands and retailers in the pharmacy and beauty industry. API’s vision is centred around “enriching Life as the most inspirational choice for health, beauty and wellbeing”. In order to do fulfill this vision, API utilises the finest technological equipment in the market to better facilitate productivity and innovation in their work place.
The team at DIB worked with API to install a brand new AV system in their Innovation space. This involved the installation of a brand new projector and speaker system.
Installation process
For this project, an Epson EB-2250U installation projector was installed. With 5,000 ANSI Lumens of brightness and WUXGA widescreen Full HD resolution, the projector is capable of producing vibrant, high-quality images that demand attention. This makes presentations and brainstorms more engaging and compels employees to contribute, leading to more productive meetings.
The projector comes with Automatic Setup, which automatically adjust the focus, horizontal and vertical keystone (a feature that helps create perfectly square image regardless of where the projector is placed in a room) and zoom at the touch of a button. Such a feature removes the hassle of setting up the technology prior to a meeting, and people can get straight on with their presentations. A Grandview Motorised SmartScreen 103″ 16:10 Projector Screen was also installed to be used with the projector.
The projector has a variety of inputs through which users can connect their external devices. The projector has wireless connectivity, which allows users to monitor, control and present from a remote locations should they choose to do so. The projector also has HDMI and USB inputs for more local connectivity.
The speaker system was also updated by installing an EPSON 30 watt external powered speaker system. These speakers allow for clear and high-quality audio because it reduces buzzes and noise. This speaker system also features a separate auxiliary input which may be used for direct iPod or audio MP3 device connection.
A Joey Micro 6 wall control panel was installed in the boardroom. These wall panels get rid of the need for complex and easily lost remote controls and combine all their functionality in one place. The panels are typically set up to include buttons that turn the system on and off, control the volume and selecting the source to be projected.
