Aitken College is a Christian co-educational college educating students from Prep to Year 12. The College has a clear goal to inspire academic achievement and creativity. One way in which they achieve this is through updating their audio visual equipment in order to provide the latest technology to students of all ages.
As Aitken College was updating their library they wanted an audio-visual tool which would benefit students of all ages to enhance both individual and group learning. Aitken College worked with the DIB team in order to conceive a suitable technology solution.
The Commbox Classic Interactive 80″ Full HD Touchscreen panel was selected as it is a high resolution, interactive display panel. The sleek modern design of the panel made it the perfect choice for the modern library space. Features include combined Infrared & camera technology, allowing for ultra-fast and accurate touch response and high brightness of colours and whites. These features make any lesson come to life on the big screen.
The Commbox panel was installed on a CommBox Motorised Bracket mounted onto the wall. This bracket allows for the panel to be easily electronically raised or lowered by the teacher.
Additionally, a 15-watt CommBox Soundbar was installed to enhance the sound quality and compliment the minimalist aesthetic style of the Commbox panel.
To control the system a Joey Micro 6 control panel was installed. With a simplistic design and easy to use features the control panel is used intuitively to control the HD panel. A screen mounted input plate was also installed to connect the panel with VGA, Audio, USB and HDMI.
