Installation process

Inside the drama room, an Epson EB-695W interactive finger touch projector was installed. With its revolutionary interactive capabilities, multiple students can interact with displayed images using their fingers or through the projector’s special pens. This allows teachers to create different lessons that can focus more on hands-on learning. The interactivity of the projector is furthered by the projector’s 3,500 ANSI lumens of brightess output, creating vibrant and bright images. The Epson EB-695W is also easier for teachers to set up, featuring self-calibration and removing the need for additional driver installations.

An Apple TV was also installed, giving teachers another resource to use during their lesson plans.

While the projector features in-built, 16W speakers, DIB installed a 30W speaker system to act as a form of audio reinforcement. Additionally, a 3.5mm audio socket was fitted, which gives users the option to directly connect their iPod or MP3 devices to the speakers.

For connectivity options, the projector features both advanced networking capabilities for wireless display and more broad, local connectivity, with HDMI and USB inputs. DIB also fitted an additional HDMI input plate along with a USB input plate that works with the projector’s interactive features, such as letting users save notes from the projector directly onto a USB stick.
