DIB assisted in Rowellyn Park Primary’s AV upgrade. Rowellyn Park Primary School is situated just inland from Port Phillip Bay on Melbourne’s Mornington Peninsula. The school aims to immerse families in a wholesome primary school journey filled with memorable experiences and challenging opportunities.
The school facilitates a large gymnasium used as a multi-purpose space for PE lessons, sports matches, events, lectures, and much more. Given its diverse range of applications, the school concluded that investing in a high-quality audiovisual system would greatly improve the overall experience of these activities. Given their first-hand experience with DIBAV’s expertise in previous projects, they reached out to us for assistance.
We met with the school to discover exactly how they envisioned the audio visual system to be used. After mapping the space, we concluded that it would be most beneficial to install not one but three LED walls in the gymnasium. This was necessary for all spectators to have a clear view of the screen in this expansive space. Not only can these screens all work in unison, but they can display individual content and be connected wirelessly by using the Barco Clickshare Systems.
It was important to the school that they could livestream events hosted in the gymnasium to allow those who could not be there to attend. To achieve this, we installed an HD camera and a lecture capture system. This setup supports recording, switching, mixing, and live streaming in 1080p with integration to popular platforms like YouTube, Facebook, Kaltura, and Panopto, so no one ever has to miss an event again.
These systems along with high-quality speakers and microphones were supplied to extend the reach of the equipment. To simplify these complex systems, we implemented a single touchscreen control interface, allowing users to easily manage everything from one place.
