Newlands Primary School is a Spanish Bilingual Primary School, situated in West Preston opposite the new Coburg Hill development. Newlands Primary School is proud of the role they play in the community and take pride in providing a welcoming atmosphere.
Having worked with DIB Audio Visual in the past with the installation of interactive whiteboards, Newlands PS engaged DIB Australia again with the intention of installing new audiovisual resources for the modern classroom.
BenQ RP6501 4K UHD 65″
BenQ RP6501K 4K UHD 65” Education Interactive Flat Panel Displays were installed into six classrooms, with a 7th unit setup onto a mobile trolley. The BenQ Interactive Flat Panels can be used to promote a more hands-on learning environment, where multiple students can interact with the screen using their fingers or a stylus, also taking advantage of the Intelligent Handwriting Recognition (accommodating up to twenty points of touch!).
Additionally, the Recommended Apps through “BenQ Suggests” application further expands the IFPs’ potential by simplifying app updates and downloading in the future.

Not only does the RP6501K come with the Air Quality Sensor, Germ-Resistant Screen, and Eye-Care solution, but it is also installed with a proficient cloud whiteboard for enhanced class participation and foster collaboration with students beyond locations and platforms.”
The installed BenQ 65” Interactive Flat Panels were also installed onto a Motorised Wall Lifter. This meant that panels could easily be raised and lowered, adjusting to the height of the students in the room. This was imperative as the physical accessibility of interactive displays in classrooms is vital to the success and use of the technology.
This means that as classes change, the panels are always suited perfectly to the student level.
