Our Lady of the Southern Cross is one of 4 Catholic Primary School’s in the St Andrew’s parish in Wyndham Vale. From the very beginning, the classroom spaces at Our Lady of the Southern Cross were primarily designed to be open learning environments with classroom spaces and also small group collaboration areas.
Having been involved in the initial phase of education technology installations back in 2013, DIB have since created a strong relationship with Our Lady of the Southern Cross, who’s view to implement the latest technology suited to their open learning centres has always been of the utmost importance.
The most recent installation completed at the beginning of 2016 sees the newest Epson EB-595Wi interactive projectors installed. The school also utilise Apple TVs for wireless functionality along with BYOD video conference which turns the Epson EB-595Wi into not only a projection/interactive whiteboard system, but into a multi-platform learning resource.
VGA and audio along with HDMI connections installed to accommodate for a wide range of student and teacher’s laptops.
JED T460 LED wall control panels are installed to allow for easy control of the AV system. This ensured remotes are not misplaced and projector settings not accidentally altered.
