Trinity Grammar School is an independent Anglican day and boarding school for boys, located in Kew in Melbourne, Australia.
Good things come in threes for Trinity, and our recent audiovisual upgrade for the school is no different.
We recently installed new microphones, speakers and a range of digital control and audio processors into the chapel space at the school.
Let’s take the microphones first. Sennheiser are amongst the world’s leading brands when it comes to quality, affordable microphones and in this case, we installed both wireless handheld and head worn microphones into this system.
Another fantastic piece of tech we want to feature here is the Extron SMP351 H.264 Streaming Media Processor. The SMP 351 is a streaming media processor for capturing and distributing live AV sources and presentations. Featuring up to five inputs, the SMP 351 creates high-impact
presentations by combining two high resolution signals, a background image, and metadata
into dynamic layouts that enhance a presentation’s message. The SMP 351 offers both
live streaming and recording capabilities, allowing our clients to distribute their message anywhere their network can reach.
We also installed a pair of FBT Project 550BT speakers to cover the smaller areas
outside the main space. The FBT Project 550WHT/BT two way speaker unit is equipped with
a 100V line transformer and provides the possibility of an 8 Ohm connection.
There is no doubt with this combination of speakers, microphones and streaming equipment that the students and staff of Trinity will enjoy high quality audiovisual presentations either in the chapel, elsewhere in the school or indeed at remote learning locations.
Another triple treat for the learning experience at the school.
