Now there is an ever-increasing range of IP-based technologies available on the professional AV market from all manufacturers, with products such as video-over-IP / video over ethernet, audio-over-IP, IP intercoms and IP cameras quickly becoming the norm.
There are a number of companies such as Extron, Blustream, Kramer and Visionary Solutions with products that cover all possible scenarios regardless of resolution, bandwidth, or latency requirements. Whilst some may see AV over IP as expensive and out of reach these companies are making it accessible for any size school or business.
