NEW feature-packed Hitachi 9000 series projectors

The New Hitachi 9000 series projectors range offer display resolutions of XGA, WXGA and WUXGA and have a high brightness output range, starting at 8,500 all the way up to 10,000 ANSI lumens. The projectors use a 1-chip DLP to compose images.

One key benefit of this range of Hitachi 9000 series projectors is the inclusion of lens pre-sets, which allows the user to set different zoom and focus positions. This preset feature could be particularly helpful in a large space, such as a theatre, where the projector could be used for a backdrop screen, as well as a front of stage screen for presentations. The lens shift feature is all done optically, which means that there is no loss of image quality when using this feature.

Amongst a range of interchangeable lenses available with the Hitachi 9000 series projectors, the Ultra-Short-Throw lens option (FL900) is of particular interest, as it creates a solution for AV installations in spaces where projection on a steep angle is required. This could be in a foyer area of a school, where there is foot traffic close to the projection surface and the ambient light is the area is high. Along with a high 10,000 ANSI lumens projector to combat ambient light, the Hitachi 9000 series projector can create up to a 300 inch screen size, which is significantly greater than most Ultra-Short-Throw projectors which max out at 120 inches and 3,500 ANSI lumens.

Other great features include a High Dynamic Contrast Range (HDCR), which creates a dynamic range in contrasts, pulling detail out of the shadows and toning down the highlighted areas to make it more visible. This feature creates similar enhancements as that of the HDR feature on many current DSLR cameras.

Eco-mode is also a great feature as part of the Hitachi 9000 series projectors, which can save up to 30% power consumption. The inclusion of HD-BaseT, for transmission of Full-HD signal up to 100 metres.

The Hitachi 9000 series projectors also include edge-blending technology, which allows two projectors to blend images together, creating a very large image.

The Hitachi 9000 series projectors come with a 3 year, and feature the X-9110, W-9210 and WU-9410 models.
