Goulburn Valley Water is a provider of water and wastewater services to over 60,000 people statewide. Connecting over fifty four towns to thirty seven water supply systems and twenty six wastewater management facilities, Goulburn Valley Water strives to deliver safe, reliable and affordable water and wastewater services to their customers. As such, the company aims to utilise the best in technology to ensure that their staff has the resources to effectively do their jobs.
The team at DIB worked with Goulburn Valley Water in order to install new equipment in their training room. As a result, DIB selected equipment that will allow existing staff to better train new recruits, boosting productivity in the work place.
Installation process
The DIB team selected the EPSON EB-1460Ui Meeting Mate Finger Touch Interactive Projector for the training room. This multi-function projector is versatile enough to fit into any collaborative working space seamlessly. With its 4,400 ANSI lumens of brightness and full HD capabilities, this extremely bright monitor makes any projected images and video crystal clear. The projector also combines traditional whiteboard functions with enthralling interactivity, allowing workers to engage with the projector using their fingers or with the special pens. The projector also features the ability to capture and save any notes written directly from the projector, which can then be emailed or printed out directly from the Meeting Mate system.

A high-quality vitreous enamel whiteboard was installed to be used alongside the projector. These flat whiteboards have a ceramic type surface, which is well-suited for ultra-short throw and interactive projectors.

To provide audio reinforcement for the projector system, DIB installed a pair of Kramer powered stereo speakers. This 2 x 15 speaker system is capable of filling the entire space with sound, one which is free of any noise or buzz.
DIB also installed a Kramer HDMI switcher. This high-performance switcher is able to rotate between four inputs and allow the user to choose which source they would like to direct to the HDMI output. The inputs for this switcher was programmed to include an Apple TV, Click Share, a permanent PC or laptop and a Blu-Ray player.

The team at DIB also installed a Joey Micro 9 wall control panel. These panels are incredibly useful in the working environment, as they simplify the operation of the installed system. This means that anyone in the office can use the systems with no trouble. The panels come with nine fully programmable buttons and are typically programmed to include buttons that turn the system on and off, select the source to be display and control the volume.
Additionally, a HDMI input plate connection was installed to allow users another avenue through which they can connect their devices. A USB wall plate (made for interactive display) was also fitted. This allows users to save notes directly to a USB stick.
