DIB Australia has recently undertook a series of audio visual works for Assumption College Kilmore. The school has a proud history tracing back to 1893 throughout which they have provided a holistic education experience, encouraging each student to grow and discover their full potential. Projector systems were installed by the DIB team in 15 classrooms. They each featured an Epson EB-585W ultra short throw projector. It is the ultimate overhead projector for the classroom, producing a brilliant and bright display. The EB-585W has a sleek, classroom-friendly design that allows it to blend with the surrounding space. These projectors are also reliable, coming with a 3 year warranty which can be extended to 5 years. Two Epson speakers were installed with each overhead projector to handle the sound for the system. One great feature of these speakers is that they have no earth pin which prevents any annoying humming or buzzing from the speakers.

Projectors with an ultra short throw are fantastic in classrooms because they can produce a large, bright, and detailed image despite the small space. Further, they significantly reduce the issues of shadows cast over the display by anyone standing in front and completely eliminate the annoying glare that is faced by presenters looking out into the classroom.

To handle the control of projector system, a JED T460 four button wall control panel was included in the design and installed in each classroom. This helps to simplify operation of the system with clearly labelled buttons to control volume, turn the system on/off and select the source of the image. It comes with an LCD panel which displays the volume and selected source, helping to clarify which state the system is in.
