Trinity Grammar School is a private school located in the Melbourne suburb of Kew. The team at DIB worked with Trinity Grammar in updating the AV systems for four of their classrooms. After hearing the requirements of the client, the team at DIB formed a solution that best suited the needs of the students and staff who will be using these spaces.
Installation process
In all four of the classrooms, a CommBox Classic interactive 80″ (75″ of screen area) 4K Touch monitor was installed. These versatile and multi-functional CommBox systems are front runners in educational technology. Students are able to be more hands-on and engaged with lessons as they can use their hands to interact with the projector. The CommBox not only allows multiple students to engage with the projector at the same time (the projector can register between four to ten points of touch at any given time), but it utilises infrared and camera technology for ultra fast and accurate touch response times. Coupled with the CommBox’s ultra HD (3840 x 2160) 4K resolution, this incredibly bright monitor can add an extra layer of excitement to a conventional lesson.
To supplement the system, a pair of Australian Monitor powered stereo speakers were installed. This speaker system is perfect for filling a classroom with sound, ensuring that everyone in the room can hear any audio being played.

As a means of providing ease of access and control to the systems, a Joey Micro 6 wall control panel was fitted in each room. This panel condenses all the functions of the newly installed system into one place, making it much easier and simpler to use. The panel is set up to include buttons that turn the system on and off, select the source to be displayed, and control the volume of audio.
